City-Size™ Seating and Sofa-Bed Specialists!

The Chesterfield Shop carries City-Size™Seating designed to be proportionally beautiful and fit into smaller spaces. Many of the sides and backs of our seating can be removed and reassembled for impossibly tight fits, we try to accommodate all situations.

Complimentary check-measures are available if there’s any doubt- we will do our best to ensure a “no-fit” doesn’t occur. Ask your Sales Associate for full details.

The Chesterfield Shop opened its original location in Toronto’s Junction exclusively selling sofa-beds. Over the past 7 decades, The Chesterfield Shop is family-owned and operated, and has evolved into 6 wonderful locations in the GTA and Newmarket– and sofa-beds are still our thing. They come in all configurations, in sofas and sectionals, with chaises or as a chair-bed, with mattresses ranging from single and full to queen and king. With easy-to-open contract mechanisms, and a large selection of Posturepedic and gel mattress upgrades, there is a comfortable sleeping option for everyone.

We recently bought a couch through the Chesterfield Shop and I wanted to share our experience and recommend them. We tried A LOT of different couches at various stores, at all different price points, and we landed on one of the models at Chesterfield Shop. It was by far the best combination of comfort, style, size, and price. We already own a couch from them that was purchased back in 2010 and it's still going strong despite much abuse from our two young boys for the past 7 years. We love sitting on our new couch and we know we'll continue to enjoy it for years to come.

We had a fantastic experience at The Chesterfield Shop! A huge thank you to Leela, who was so incredibly helpful throughout our visit. She introduced us to our couch, which we ended up falling completely in love with. On top of the excellent service, the prices were very reasonable and the overall quality of the furniture is outstanding. If you’re shopping for great furniture and want someone who truly takes care of you, ask for Leela! Highly recommended.

I can’t say enough great things about Paul who came to fix my broken recliner. The Chesterfield Shop provided me with his information when I called to inquire about a repair. From the very beginning he made the entire experience effortless. He was incredibly flexible with scheduling and was able to come to my home the very next day. Paul kept me informed every step of the way with excellent communication, arrived on time, and was professional from start to finish. On top of that he was genuinely kind, friendly and had a great sense of humour which made the appointment enjoyable. He quickly fixed my reclining chair and I couldn’t be happier to have it working again. It’s clear Paul takes pride in his work and truly cares about providing outstanding customer service. If you ever need furniture repairs I would highly recommend asking for Paul. I am so glad to be able to support a Canadian owned business!
