Our last-mile White Glove Delivery spans a huge catch-basin from east to west, north to south, including a vast circumference of cottage country. We will assemble and place your new seating, remove the packaging and take your old piece to the curb.

With over 40,000 square feet of beautiful showroom, including a comprehensive Clearance Section (one-of-a-kinds at marked-down pricing), it’s hard to find a bigger selection of contemporary and modern seating under one roof. This location opened in 1975 and has been a part of the North York furniture landscape ever since.

The Chesterfield Shop specializes in City-Size™ Seating, manufactured to sit perfectly- and fit perfectly- into condos, apartments, lofts, basements. If your space feels irregular, the elevator is small, the door frames appear narrow or you are concerned about a tight fit, we will have a solution for you.

Additionally, we offer a complimentary “Check-Measure” program to verify that your seating will fit into your space before you order it- this alleviates the disappointment of a “no-fit!” (Often it’s not the actual room that presents the problem- but the “getting-in.”)

Went to the Chesterfield shop in North York last week with my daughter to purchase a sofa for her new condo and met Walter Zarpellon, a senior sales consultant. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Walter. He was absolutely amazing. My daughter and I were very impressed with how approachable, friendly and knowledgeable he was. Walter asked my daughter a lot of questions to assess what she was looking for. He shared a great deal of information with us about fabrics, advantages and disadvantages of certain sofas, and price ranges. We were so impressed with Walter that my daughter purchased a condo sofa from him last week and then after taking a few days to reflect on some of the information that he gave her, she went back again this week and purchased a sofa bed for her spare bedroom. Walter was able to help my daughter to assess what her needs were and which options best met those needs. I would strongly encourage anyone who is looking to purchase a new sofa to go and see Walter.

The Chesterfield Shop has excellent products and customer service. We are very pleased with the sofa we bought. The delivery team was very professional and on time. We also ordered counter stools, sadly an error was made in the order, but with no questions asked a new order was placed to replace the wrong sized stools. We subsequently bought two swivel chairs with the wonderful help of Marla Zimmermand who was very helpful with her knowledge of the products.

We purchased a lift/recliner chair as I was having hip surgery. The salesman was very helpful, however, when the chair was delivered, I found that it was not meeting my needs. In addition, it had a 'cut' mark on the arm and the back of the chair looked as if it was not properly stuffed. The salesman was most helpful and agreed from my photos that the chair needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, as I had upcoming surgery, having another chair made would take time - and I needed the chair to help with the upcoming surgery. (There was not another chair in stock to replace this one.) Without hesitation, the salesman assisted me to find a chair that met my needs, however, as it was to be manufactured it would take weeks before I would receive it. Understanding my situation, he said that I could keep the current chair until the new chair was delivered. This was amazing, as I had surgery, a bilateral hip replacement, prior to the new chair being delivered. I really appreciated being able to use the chair post - op. Made all the difference in my recovery. The compassion showed to me in this experience will not to be forgotten. The new chair is amazing and I am so grateful for the support from the company in this purchase. We also have another sofa/love seat set, purchased in 2000, that still looks great. I would definitely recommend this company and their staff, in particular Avery Matlow, for their professionalism and service.
