Had the best personal service by Sandra at The Chesterfield Shop. She was knowledgeable, attentive, had great recommendations, was patient and knew when to let us have our own time to make our decision.

We love that The Chesterfield Shop offers high-quality, Canadian-made furniture. This is our second sofa from Chesterfield, and our previous leather sofa lasted more than 15 years while still serving us well. We simply decided it was time for a refreshed look. We recently purchased a sectional and an ottoman, and were pleasantly surprised when they arrived earlier than expected. It was impressive to receive custom-made Canadian furniture faster than many imported pieces that are typically shipped from overseas. Our experience with Sandra was excellent. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to understand our needs. Her expertise and guidance helped us choose the perfect pieces for our living room. We are extremely pleased with the quality, craftsmanship, and customer service, and would highly recommend The Chesterfield Shop to anyone looking for beautiful, long-lasting furniture. Even the cats love it!

I was going through our old appliance/furniture manuals. I found an invoice for our leather sofa and 2 reclining chairs made by Palliser. They are in almost brand new condtion. No peeling or cracking. I clean them not very often with a damp cloth or baby wipes. I still remember the salesman. Barry was very patient with us and gave us very good information and advice. I was shocked to read the date on the invoce. It was March of 2010!! 16 years and they are in perfect condition!!

During my many, many visits to the Chesterfield Shop, I had the fortune to work with Dennis Thomson, a Senior Sales & Design expert at The Dundas St location in Mississauga. Dennis is very personable, easy to understand and knows the products in his showroom. His product knowledge helped me find the right recliner sofa so it was a comfortable fit. The store offers high quality Canadian products. There was no problem is bringing home the fabric samples many times to ensure that I was content with my fabric choices. Dennis’ exceptional service included clearly explaining several things- the delivery & set up process, the current promotion, the inclusion of written notes that showed the specifics for each warranty - explained what was and was not included in the warranties. It was great that The Chesterfield Shop would remove my old sofa, at no additional fee and that my custom made recliner sofa would be available in 6 to 7 weeks. A win win for me all around. A huge appreciation for Dennis’ efforts, patience and consistent service.

We recently bought our third piece of furniture at the Chesterfield shop. We have a pullout sofa bed that is still in good condition that we bought there over 20 years ago! We also bought a small sectional a couple of years ago, and went back this time for a larger sectional. The quality of the furniture at the store for the prices that they’re charging, is unmatched. We visited six other Big name furniture stores before going back to the Chesterfield shop, and none of them offered anything comparable. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted pleasantly by an associate named Amal. Coincidentally, this is the same associate who helped us a couple of years ago. She spent a total of 3 hours with us on two different visits while we looked around the store, comparing pieces of furniture, fabrics, making suggestions, and all in a supportive and professional manner. Never once did we feel like we were being pushed to buy something, or told long-winded stories about specific details of the furniture just to make us buy it. Amal listened to our needs, and worked hard to provide us with something that suited both our taste and our budget. Thank you, Amal for your efforts; we will definitely be returning for our next couch!

We had a great experience at the Chesterfield Shop Mississauga. We needed to purchase new living room furniture for our parents. They are unable to visit the store in person due to mobility issues. Sandra was really understanding and accommodating, through several visits, helping us select the right furniture. A special thank you to the delivery Team Leader Augustine and Logistics Supervisor Daniela. There was a slight miscommunication at the time of delivery. Daniela was contacted and the issue was dealt with quickly and professionally. Augustine was exceptionally kind and patient with our parents while the issue got resolved. Thanks again, Brenda

We need to replace our couch. We have shopped many stores however we always come back to The Chesterfield Shop. We had purchased at least three couches from this store for 40 years. My parents also bought their couch here. Quality is excellent and are made in Canada. Dennis Thompson was very helpful. There was no pressure selling. All my questions were answered fully, including warranty inclusions. Financing was explained in clear and concise manner. We finally decided to purchase a made to order leather couch with electric recliners and a single chair with the same features. If you are looking for quality and build, this is the place to be. They’ve been in Mississauga since I remember when we arrived in the 70’s.
