My wife and I have been sofa shopping for the past few weeks and visited a wide range of stores — from large department retailers to premium furniture shops like Mobilia and La-Z-Boy. We were specifically looking for quality leather reclining sofas, and after visiting close to ten stores across the GTA (many with January sales), we found ourselves returning to The Chesterfield Shop.

That’s where we met Dennis Thomson, and he truly stood out. He was professional, courteous, and one of the most knowledgeable sales representatives we encountered during our search. Dennis took the time to explain the differences in leather quality, frame construction, and the electrical and mechanical components of the recliners — which was incredibly refreshing and gave us real confidence in our decision.

While these sofas weren’t the cheapest options we saw, you really do get what you pay for in terms of quality and craftsmanship. We felt good about the value, were happy with the negotiation process, and are excited to receive our new power leather reclining sofas soon.
