City-Size™ Seating and Sofa-Bed Specialists!

The Chesterfield Shop carries City-Size™Seating designed to be proportionally beautiful and fit into smaller spaces. Many of the sides and backs of our seating can be removed and reassembled for impossibly tight fits, we try to accommodate all situations.

Complimentary check-measures are available if there’s any doubt- we will do our best to ensure a “no-fit” doesn’t occur. Ask your Sales Associate for full details.

The Chesterfield Shop opened its original location in Toronto’s Junction exclusively selling sofa-beds. Over the past 7 decades, The Chesterfield Shop is family-owned and operated, and has evolved into 6 wonderful locations in the GTA and Newmarket– and sofa-beds are still our thing. They come in all configurations, in sofas and sectionals, with chaises or as a chair-bed, with mattresses ranging from single and full to queen and king. With easy-to-open contract mechanisms, and a large selection of Posturepedic and gel mattress upgrades, there is a comfortable sleeping option for everyone.

If you need a sofa bed, go to The Chesterfield Shop!

Vanessa Guerrero was beyond helpful and patient as I shopped for a sofa bed. Particularly as I had size restrictions for the sofa bed and I preferred a colour other than beige, cream, grey or brown. The Yonge and Eglinton location has a helpful device that allows shoppers to see furniture pieces in specific fabrics allowing shoppers to see how their item will look with the fabric of their choice. I chose Ultra Suede in Amethyst. Vanessa helpfully included a fabric sample with my order to ensure a colour match when my sofa bed was being manufactured.

I was kept up-to-date during the manufacturing process of the overall timeline and expected delivery. A Saturday delivery was easily arranged. The delivery team was friendly and they worked efficiently and cleared away all packing materials before they left. They made sure that the sofa bed opened and closed as it should. It did! Overall, the manufacturing and delivery was on time and smooth.

It has been one month since my gorgeous Amethyst sofa bed was delivered. Oh my gosh, I LOVE it! From the start of my shopping experience, to a month of relaxing on it in my living room, to it being slept on this past weekend, my experience with The Chesterfield Shop has been extremely positive.

I cannot more highly recommend The Chesterfield Shop. When you stop by, ask for Vanessa. You're in good hands with her.
