The Chesterfield Shop carries City-Size™Seating designed to be proportionally beautiful and fit into smaller spaces. Many of the sides and backs of our seating can be removed and reassembled for impossibly tight fits, we try to accommodate all situations.

Complimentary check-measures are available if there’s any doubt- we will do our best to ensure a “no-fit” doesn’t occur. Ask your Sales Associate for full details.

The Chesterfield Shop opened its original location in Toronto’s Junction exclusively selling sofa-beds. Over the past 7 decades, The Chesterfield Shop is family-owned and operated, and has evolved into 6 wonderful locations in the GTA and Newmarket– and sofa-beds are still our thing. They come in all configurations, in sofas and sectionals, with chaises or as a chair-bed, with mattresses ranging from single and full to queen and king. With easy-to-open contract mechanisms, and a large selection of Posturepedic and gel mattress upgrades, there is a comfortable sleeping option for everyone.

Yet another wonderful story to share about the amazing Vanessa! My mother is 89 years old and had a loveseat that she was emotionally attached to, but could not use any longer because the arms were not rigid, and created a fall risk. I called Vanessa because she had been so helpful when we bought another sofa for my mother last year. The situation was complicated because I live in New York and was trying to arrange everything long distance. Vanessa sent us pictures of the loveseats she had in stock, and within days it was sitting in my mother’s apartment. She even made special arrangements to remove the old loveseat. But the most amazing thing is that my mother LOVES the new loveseat that is safe for her, and said it was the perfect color, style and firmness. She was so happy that she does not even miss the old, dangerous one she has been so attached to. Vanessa, THANK YOU!

Latifa (who is also an interior designer) was very helpful as well as very knowledgeable of the products the store sold. I highly recommend this store/location. This is our 5th purchase at the Yonge St location in the past six years - It is our go-to store for sofas and hide a beds. Highly recommend.
